Finished doodle!

A sort of creature design I've been working on lately. Then I sat back and thought, "Huh... this would be a pretty badass necromorph." And so that's what it became. A necromorph concept. Still stuck on whether or not to call it a Strangler or The Noose, after the way it kills you. (Similar to the Tripod, The Brute, something that doesn't end with -er.)
So I'll explain the idea of its design. Basically, it's formed by 2-3 human corpses fused together into a flexible, elongated body. (I wouldn't necessarily refer to it as "serpentine", though.) Its former arms and legs have flaps of skin that sort of covered them like an Infector's "wings", inhibiting its movement and making it generally sluggish and vulnerable out in the open... but not so much so in the ceiling vents.

Basically, yes, it's a vent-dweller, lying in wait for some unwary passerby to walk within range of its tongue. At completely random moments in the game, it would emerge and launch its "tongue" (really the host's modified intestines) like a chameleon at Isaac, wrapping it around his neck and shoulders and dragging him towards the ceiling vent (think of this as like the Drag Tentacle scenes), steadily tightening the tongue around his neck as he gets closer. You'd then, like the Drag Tentacle, have to quickly sever the thin but very sinewy, sturdy tongue with a few shots, but it would be more of a challenge since it's a smaller target. If you fail to sever it, it would drag Isaac beneath the opening of the vent, and very quickly and roughly jerk him upwards, snapping his neck (hangman's noose-inspired, obviously) before pulling his head into its open "mouth" and decapitating him with a bite. The last thing you would see before the typical fade-to-black would be Isaac's body being dragged into the ceiling vent and out of sight.
If you manage to sever the tongue, though, it'll screech and flail around, causing it to fall out of the vent and expose its weak, vulnerable body for you to dismember and dispose of as you please.
...I came up with all of that when I probably should have been paying attention in class. Shaddup, I'm lonely, okay? xD
I'm thinking I might do a few full-body sketches of this guy, though, and a few studies of the "mouth" when it's closed up. He's fun to draw.
Enjoy, ya'll.
